How long have you been knitting? Do you consider yourself beginner, intermediate, advanced? How long have you been knitting socks? I've been knitting consistently for over 6mos ~ I'm an intermediated knitter and I've been knitting socks as long as I've been knitting again.
What are your favorite fibers to work with? I love cashmerino, soft acrylics and soft wools.
What is your favorite color? Red.
What are your current WIPs (works in progress)? 4 pr of socks, 1 headband, 2 scarves and several other items that are now hibernating.
Name your favorite yarns, (brand, fibers, colors, etc.). Regia, Debbie Bliss, Noro, Crystal Palace Creme, and Mountain Colors.
What are some yarns/fibers that you stay away from. None at the moment.
What is your family situation? (Married, kids, pets?) 3 teens, dh & whacky dog.
Name some of your hobbies. reading, crocheting, cross-stitching and bird-watching.
Name some of your favorite movies? hmm...too long to list but love classics, love stories and musicals.
Do you like to read? Yes.
Do you collect anything? Lighthouses, books and stuff.
Do you own an iPod or mp3 player? Yes.
What are your favorite type of knitting needles? Metal circs. and of course, my dpns ~ metal too except for my brittany's.
What knitting notion could you not live without? Folding scissors and row counter.
Who are some of your favorite designers? Debbie Bliss, various designers at Vogue & Interweave, Cookie A, and the list goes on and on.
Do you subscribe to any magazines? (Knitting or otherwise.) Yes, Interweave Knits but will expire soon.
